GATE ME Question Paper 2023GATE Mechanical Engineering Question Paper 2023: GATE ME exam 2023 was conducted today on February 4 in the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. As the exam is conducted online in a computer-based format, candidates will not have a physical copy of the question paper till IIT Kanpur releases the same. The memory-based questions of the Mechanical exam received from the students can be checked from this page, and the PDF of GATE ME question paper 2023 can be downloaded. The GATE Mechanical Engineering Question paper consists of 65 questions for 100 marks. 55 questions are allocated to the core subject and the rest 10 to the general aptitude. The GATE Mechanical question paper 2023 core subject (CS) consists of 85 marks and the general aptitude question is for 15 Marks.

GATE ME Question Paper 2023 Analysis
Belwo candidates can check the question paper analysis of the GATE ME 2023 exam:
- The overall difficulty level of the question paper was moderate
- There were a total of 27 NAT Baswed questions, 30 MCQ-based questions and 8 MSQ-based questions
- The 1 marks question in the GATE Mechanical Engineering Question 2023 paper was doable and the 2 Mars questions were lengthy
- The question paper had no questions from the power plan and RAC
- In GATE ME Question paper 2023 there was only one question about Metal cutting and a good amount of questions about the strength of materials
- There were nearly 3 2 Marks questions from the strength of Material and 2 1 marks questions from the strength of design.
- Mechanics had the highest number of question between 4-5 (2 Marks question)
IIT Kanpur will be releasing the GATE Mechanical Engineering 2023 official question paper along with the answer key on 21st February 2023. The response sheet will be released by 15th February 2023.
