GATE 2023 registration was rescheduled and the last date to fill and submit the application is 4th October 2022 (without late fees) and 7th October 2022 (with late fees). Check the important dates along with the steps to fill and submit the application
Gate Registration 2022 Last Date extended till 4th October 2022. Earlier the site date to fill and submit the application without a late fine was 30th September 2022. Candidates who wish to apply for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can visit the official website or click on below mentioned direct link to access the registration page. However, candidates can fill and submit the application by 7th October but with a late fine. The exam is scheduled to be held in February on the 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th of 2023. Candidates in the SC/ST/PWD and Female category must pay Rs. 850 and other candidates along with the foreign nationals need to pay Rs. 1700.

Important Documents Required During GATE Registration 2022
Here is the list of documents candidate need to have during the registration process:
- Candidate High-quality Photogram in the JPEG format with the dimension of 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm with a minimum resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and Maximum Resolution: of 480 x 640 pixels
- Candidate Signature in the A4 white sheet with the resolution of 80 x 280 pixels (minimum) and 160 x 560 (maximum)
- Scanned copy of the category certificate in the PDF format for (SC/ST)
- Scanned copy of the PwD certificate in PDF format
- Scanned copy of Dyslexia certificate (if applicable
- Scanned copy of valid Government issued id proof (Adhar Id, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Passport)

Here is the steps candidate can follow to fill and submit the application form:
- Visit the official website https://gate.iitk.ac.in/ ->> Click on the login tab or click on the direct link mentioned above
- Next, a new candidate needs to register by clicking on the “New Use Register Here”
- Fill in all the required details and make sure to provide the active email id and phone number
- Upon registration, the candidate can log in using the email address and password
- Next, fill out the application and upload the required documents mentioned above
- Pay the application fees to confirm the registration
- Download the application and payment receipt for the future use
