GATE Response Sheet Release Time 2024:
The
Indian Institute of Science will release the GATE response sheet 2024 on
February 16
, and the expected time of release has been specified here. The expected time has been prepared based on the previous years' response sheet release time and trends. Considering the previous year’s trend, it can be assumed that the response sheet will be released tentatively
by 7 pm.
In 2023, the authority released the GATE response sheet at
6.30 pm.
While it cannot be confirmed that the GATE response sheet 2024 shall exactly be released by 7 PM. Usually, the exam authority releases the response sheet of GATE in a phased manner and paper-wise. Therefore, the candidates need to keep checking the GOAPS portal from 10 AM onwards on February 16. The candidates must note that there might be server issues initially once the response sheet is released. The candidates should enter the login credentials, such as the enrollment ID/ email ID and the password. Post that the authority will release the GATE 2024 answer key on
February 21, 2024.

Steps to calculate scores using GATE response sheet 2024
Before calculating the obtainable score, it is necessary to have a detailed knowledge of the GATE 2024 marking scheme, which has been analyzed in the following section.
MCQ Marks:
The weightage of the questions was 1 mark and 2 marks
- Candidates will get 1 mark and 2 marks for every correctly marked answer (based on their weightage)
- 1/3 and 2/3 marks will be deducted for every incorrectly marked answer of 1 mark and 2 marks respectively
NAT Marks:
- Candidates will get 1 mark and 2 marks for every correctly marked answer (based on their weightage)
