Goa: GCET 2017 Results for B.Tech, B.Pharma, Nursing & Allied Health Courses Announced

Goa: GCET 2017 Results for B.Tech, B.Pharma, Nursing & Allied Health Courses Announced

The results of Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2017 are out on the official website Directorate of Technical Education, Goa. This year, the examination took place on May 9, and a total number of 5,116 students took the examination. The GCET 2017 examination took place for the admission to B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, nursing and allied health courses. DTE conducted the examination in 15 test centres across the Goa state.

The topper of GCET 2017 examination is Pratheek Rebello. He scored 70, 72 and 74 marks in PCM subjects respectively. Divya Prabhu is the second topper of Mathematics with 74 marks in the subject. Jayaram is the topper of Biology who scored 74 marks in GCET 2017. The number of students appearing for GCET 2017 examination reduced due to mandatory NEET for medical admissions.

Currently, there are 1,230 engineering seats available in various technical institutes across the state. A total number of 120 seats are available in B.Pharmacy followed by 100 seats in nursing. There are five courses in allied health sciences with 20 seats in each.

  • On the home page of DTE Goa, click on relevant results link.
  • The candidates need not enter any details.
  • A PDF file opens in a new tab.
  • The details of the marks and rank of the candidates in GCET 2017 are available in the PDF file.
