The Gujarat Public Service Commission Exam 2019 for the post of State Tax Inspector is postponed due to the clash in dates with Gaon Seva Ayog Exam 2019. Earlier the GPSC Exam had to be conducted on 17th and 24th November at all regional centres, but the 17th November 2019 exam slot is clashing with the Gaon Seva Ayog Exam. The Gaon Seva Ayog Exam is conducted by Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board against the vacancies of office assistant and non-secretariat clerks. Earlier this year, GSSSB released the notification for 3,771 posts that are to be filled through the Gaon Seva Ayog Examination which had to be conducted on 20th October 2019. After a lot of protest by candidates, the exam was scheduled on 17th November 2019.
