Gujarat Common Engineering Test (GUJCET) 2017 has been rescheduled to May 10, 2017. GSEB, the conducting body of GUJCET, has preponed the exam that was earlier scheduled for May 11, 2017. The exam will be conducted for admission to various engineering colleges of the state. Find out other details of the exam below.

GUJCET is a three-hour-long exam comprising a total of 120 questions. It will be conducted in offline mode. The exam will be held in three languages i.e. Gujarati, Hindi and English. The paper will comprise three subjects, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. 40 questions will be asked from every subject.

The registration process for GUJCET 2017 was closed on April 16, 2017. Eligible candidates who have successfully completed the registration and have paid the application fees will be able to download the admit cards in the month of May 2017. Results for the exam will also be announced at the end of May 2017.

GUJCET has been reintroduced from the session 2017-18. 112 engineering colleges will be accepting GUJCET 2017 scores for admission to the various programmes offered by them. From the coming sessions, all the engineering colleges of the state will participate in GUJCET selection process. Earlier, admission to the state’s technical colleges were done on the basis of JEE Main scores.
