Gurugram University has commenced its first batch admission process from 6th July 2018 onwards. The first academic session and classroom teaching will begin from 1st September 2018 from its temporary campus.
According to the reports, the varsity is already lagging behind the schedule as it was expected to kickstart the admission process much earlier. The delay was due to the pending approval for the faculty members which was lying with the government.
Dr. Markandey Ahuja, Vice-Chancellor, Gurugram University informed that the classes will be held at the Rao Tula Ram College located in Sector 51 Gurugram, Haryana. He said that the University will operate from there until and unless the permanent campus is fully functional in the next three years.
For the 2018 academic year, Gurugram University will offer B.Pharma, B.Tech and M.Sc programmes. All the details regarding the courses and admission are available in the prospectus which was released by the university on 6th July itself. The university is expecting around 500 admissions this year.

The Haryana government has only approved two university posts as of now i.e. Registrar and Vice-Chancellor. Further, it is expected to have 250 posts which include faculty and administrative staff as well.

The university has received the sanction letter from the government and will start with the hiring process shortly. The university officials are planning to wrap up the hiring process along with the admissions.
