Haryana board has taken a decision not to conduct the pending exams for class 10. The board will only conduct Science exam out of the pending exams for class 10th.

Haryana board has taken a decision not to conduct the pending exams for class 10. The board has decided to only conduct the Science Paper due to the prevailing situation. In case, a student wishes to appear in any paper they will have to send the application for the same.

Jagbir Singh, Board Chairman informed that the board will soon take a decision regarding the class 12 examination. The class 10th and 12th papers will be organised together and the dates will be announced after the lockdown.

For class 10th students, Haryana Board is yet to conduct exams for the science, physical education, Sanskrit, Urdu, agriculture, computer science and electives exams including media entertainment, banking, Punjabi, IT and ITES.

For class 12, the board has to organize chemistry, public administrator, geography, computer science, ITIS, history, life science, agriculture, psychology, Sanskrit, Urdu, biotechnology, political science, Hindustani music, philosophy, sociology/entrepreneurship, stenographer, banking and automobile, IT and ITES exams.

Over 7,41,460 candidates appeared for the Haryana board exams this year. Out of which 3,61,329 students are class 10th students ad the remaining 2,32,157 are class 12th students.

All the exams across the country have been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak and fresh dates will be issued after assessing the situation on 14th April 2020 which is the last day of the lockdown. The committee will assess the situation after the lockdown and issue fresh dates accordingly.
