NBEMS has postponed the NEET MDS 2023 exam schedule and as per the revised schedule, NEET MDS 2023 exam will be held on March 1, 2023 instead of January 8, 2023. Check out the important instructions here.

Here's the revised date of NEET MDS 2023

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has postponed the NEET MDS 2023 exam schedule and as per the revised schedule, NEET MDS 2023 exam will be held on March 1, 2023 instead of January 8, 2023. The decision of postponing the exam date was already taken by the Dental Council of India in the meeting held on November 7, 2022. The authority has announced the NEET MDS 2023 revised date at the official website- natboard.edu.in. NEET MDS 2023 online application form along with the information bulletin will be available soon at the NBEMS official website. Through the NEET MDS 2023 exam, the qualified candidates will be able to take admission to 265 colleges.

NEET MDS 2023 Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the NEET MDS 2023, the candidates should meet the eligibility criteria. Check out the minimum eligibility criteria here-

Indian citizens, OCIs and PIOs are eligible to apply
Candidates should have Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from any of the University or Institute in India under MDS course
Candidates should have a provisional or permanent registration certification issued by SDC or DCI by March 31

Kindly note that the candidates who have studied the undergraduate dental degree from the Jammu and Kashmir, will not be eligible to participate under the 50% AIQ seats. Nonetheless, the students, who were nominated under the GoI will be eligible for AIQ seats.

On the other hand, the foreign nationals can also appear for the NEET MDS exam without the DCI registration certificate. In such a case, the temporary registration certificate by DCI will be issued as a medical practitioner.
