To register for the CAT 2023 exam, follow the steps mentioned below:
Visit the Official CAT Website (https://iimcat.ac.in) when the registration process is open.
Click on the "New Candidate Registration" link to create a user account. Provide your basic details such as name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number. Create a password for your account.
Once your account is validated, log in to your account using the registered email address and password. Fill in the CAT application form with your personal details, educational qualifications, work experience (if any), and other necessary information.
Choose your preferred test cities where you want to take the CAT exam.
Upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, and other documents as per the specified format and size.
After filling in all the required details, proceed to pay the application fee. The fee can be paid online using various payment methods like debit/credit cards, or net banking.
Before final submission, carefully review all the information entered in the application form. Check for any errors or discrepancies and make corrections if needed. Once you are sure that all the details are accurate, submit the application form.
After successful submission of the application form and payment of the application fee, you will receive a confirmation email. Keep a copy of the application form and payment receipt for future reference.
Documents Required to Register for CAT 2023
Candidates must furnish the following documents to register for CAT 2023:
A recent passport-size color photograph of the candidate in JPEG or JPG format
A scanned image of the candidate's signature in JPEG or JPG format done on white paper with a black ink pen
Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD) need to upload a scanned copy of their category certificate.
Scanned copies of all academic certificates and mark sheets from classes X, XII, and bachelor's degree
A scanned copy of work experience certificate
Photo ID Proof such as Aadhar Card, Passport, Voter ID, PAN Card, etc.
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates need to upload a scanned copy of their PwD certificate issued by a competent authority.
