HP PAT 2023 Exam on May 21 : H.P Takniki Shiksha Board has released the pattern and the marking scheme for Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test (HP PAT) 2023 examination which is scheduled to be held on May 21, 2023 . The HP PAT exam pattern consists of the number of questions, exam duration, marking scheme, and others. Candidates planning to sit for this state-level examination to get admission to various polytechnic courses must be aware of the format and the scoring system to strategically prepare for the test. Knowing these will help candidates make a good study plan and cover all the essential topics for the examination.

HP PAT 2023 Exam Pattern

According to the HP PAT 2023 exam pattern mentioned in the official brochure, the question paper will consist of questions from 4 sections - Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English. All these sections will have different marks weightage which is displayed in the following table:

Note : The HP PAT 2023 examination will be held in pen and paper mode (offline) and the candidates will have to answer the questions in the OMR sheet. Applicants will be provided with 3 hours to complete the paper. The paper will be available in both English and Hindi languages.

HP PAT 2023 Marking Scheme

For every correct answer, applicants will be awarded with 4 marks and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer as per the HP PAT 2023 marking scheme. For unattended questions, no marks will be deducted from the candidates.
