ICAR to conduct 4 rounds of UG Counselling for Agriculture Admissions 2025; Important instructions

For the upcoming Agriculture admissions, candidates shall note that there will be 4 rounds of ICAR UG Counselling 2025, which will be held online. Eligible candidates are invited to participate in the admission process.

ICAR UG Counselling for Agriculture Admissions 2025: Candidates looking forward to participating in ICAR UG Counselling for Agriculture Admissions 2025 shall note that the counselling process will begin soon. This year, there will be four rounds of counselling followed by the mop-up round in case of vacant seats. As per the latest notice released, the instructions for ICAR UG Counselling for Agriculture Admissions 2025 are listed here:

Counselling is not available to applicants who received a zero or negative score on the CUET (ICAR-UG) 2025.
In addition to the mop-up round, if necessary, there will be four rounds of counselling. Only the first, second, and third rounds will allow upgrades.
Candidates are not assigned to colleges by ICAR. It gives the applicants access to the university, but the university itself will control how a constituent college, which might be located somewhere other than the main campus, is distributed.
Candidates will only be admitted and placed in constituent colleges and programs by the university. One of these criteria for the admission of constituent colleges by the admitting AUs may be the category-wise merit-based selection of the candidates.
Not more than 40% of the ICAR seats from a single State would be given to any one university in that subject or program under a certain category, out of the total number of ICAR seats available for a specific degree program at a university.
For any changes to the schedule, notifications, circulars, etc., candidates who have been deemed qualified for registration and choice filling are encouraged to stay in regular contact with the ICAR website at icar.org.in or icarcounseling.com .
ICAR will not be held accountable if the candidates do not receive the SMS or email (as specified in the online application) on time for technical reasons.
The ICAR/University will not reimburse the Seat Acceptance Fee to any candidate who accepts or freezes their seat during rounds 1 through 4 and does not withdraw or cancel their seat in accordance with the protocol or enrol in the provisionally assigned program/university for whatever reason.
For future use or reference, candidates are urged to preserve hard copies of their rank cards, provisional admission letters, provisional allotment letters, etc., in addition to soft copies. Applicants will not be able to download these papers after the counselling portal closes, and ICAR will not consider any requests from applicants for a reprint of these documents.
