IGNOU B.Ed registration deadline for January 2022 cycle has been extended. The registration window was supposed to close on 17th April but now it has been extended till 24th April 2022. The application form was released on 24th March 2022 and all eligible candidates can visit the website- ignou.ac.in to fill out the application form. Although the registration date has been extended, there's no change in the exam date. The IGNOU B.Ed entrance exam 2022 will be held on 8th May 2022.
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) conducts a national-level entrance exam for admission into their B.Ed course. The exam is conducted once a year in an offline mode. Those who qualify in the entrance exam will get admission into a 2-year B.Ed course.

IGNOU B.Ed 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for admission into the B.Ed course of IGNOU are given below-
- Candidates having a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 50% marks in total are eligible to apply for the IGNOU B.Ed course.
- Those who possess a Bachelor's degree in technology or engineering with a specialization in science and math must score a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying exam.
- A relaxation of 5% marks will be provided to the reserved category students.
- Candidates must have work experience and NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
Who is not eligible for IGNOU B.Ed?
Those who have a Master's degree without a first degree are not eligible to apply for a B.Ed course at IGNOU.

How to fill IGNOU B.Ed Application Form?
The following simple steps will help in filling up the application form easily-
- Visit the official website.
- Click on "Registration for B.Ed for January Session". A new page will appear and now click on "B.Ed Registration".
- Now register yourself by filling in the necessary detail.
- Log in using the log-in credentials.
- Fill in all the personal and academic details.
- Upload passport size photograph (100 KB) and signature (50 KB).
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,000 to complete the application process.
