IIFM (Indian Institute of Forest Management), located in Bhopal has initiated the registration process for PGDFM (Post Graduate Diploma in Forest Management) course for the academic session 2018-20. It is a unique course offered by IIFM, and the fee structure for this two-year course is Rs. 4,80,000 (Rs. 2,88,000 for SC/ST). Every year, IIFM enrols 120 students to PGDFM course. The detailed IIFM admission notice for PGDFM 2018-20 is elaborated below.
IIFM Eligibility Norms:
- CAT 2017 or XAT 2018 score is mandatory for seeking admission to PGDFM course offered by IIFM.
- Bachelor’s degree with 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST) or equivalent CGPA is mandatory for seeking admission to PGDFM course.
- Final year UG students, whose Bachelor’s degree will be completed by June 30, 2018, can also apply.
IIFM Application Procedure:
- The online application process began in the second week of October
- Just visit the official website of IIFM, and the notification for the admission to PGDFM 2018-20 is published on the homepage.
- Above the notification, the applicants can find the link for registration and online application.
- Complete the pre-registration formalities followed by online submission of application.
- Finally, pay the application fee in online mode.
- For General category, the application fee is Rs. 900, and for reserved category, the application fee is Rs. 450.

IIFM Selection Process:
- The preliminary shortlisting of candidates for the admission to PGDFM course will be done based on CAT 2017 or XAT 2018 score.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed to take part in Written Aptitude Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
- The selection process will take place at Bhopal, New Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore.
- Among the selected candidates during the final selection, 20 students will be selected for performance-based merit scholarships.

IIFM Important Dates:
- For CAT 2017 applicants, February 10, 2018, is the deadline to submit application forms.
- For XAT 2018 applicants, February 20, 2018, is the deadline to submit application forms.
