A Bengaluru student has bagged the dream job of many computer engineers and with good pay as well. KB Shyam, a 22-year old student has been given employment at Google with a yearly package of 60 lakhs, sources state.
As per sources, KB Shyam was a student of a dual degree programme, integrated M.tech Programme which he pursued from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT-B). Sources state that Shyam had applied for the job at Google at the beginning of the year in January 2019. They further added that he had to clear an online interview along with an onsite interview at Munich. This was followed by a team-matching process to decide his team at the company. To pursue this dream job of his, Shyam will need to move to Warsaw, Poland.
KB Shyam has been allotted the responsibility of working for the Google Cloud Platform, sources state. Shyam told sources that the different programming competitions that he participated in helped him get a good score in tests conducted by Google. He also mentioned that he had reached the finals of ACM-ICPC, which is commonly considered as the Olympics for programming twice along with two other people.
His previous work experiences include an internship at the social media giant, Facebook. Shyam gave the sources a tip for all those candidates who are interested in getting a job at Google like him, which includes them having immense knowledge in the field of computer science as well as having great problem-solving skills as well.
