Written Examination Requirement for Shortlisted PhD Candidates - Shortlisted candidates for the PhD program at IIIT-Bangalore will be required to take a written examination as part of the interview process. This examination will involve writing a short essay (1500 words) on a topic related to the IT and Society research domain at IIIT-Bangalore. Candidates can view the relevant topics and guidelines on the CITAPP website. A set of questions based on the research interests indicated in the candidates' application forms will be provided, allowing them to choose which question(s) they would like to answer.
The CAT 2025 registration process is now live on iimcat.ac.in. Candidates can register until September 13, 2025. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on November 30, 2025.
