Ganesh N Prabhu, an IIM Bangalore professor, has provided courseflow to assist new Business School and Institutes faculty in teaching a course on New Product Development.
A professor of Strategy at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore has introduced a new courseflow in the Nodes Platform. Professor Ganesh N Prabhu has put forward a new and innovative way to help new faculties in teaching the New Product Development course. This courseflow is introduced to help other faculties to cope with the course.
Professor Prabhu has been teaching the course of New Product Development at IIM Bangalore for about 25 years now. He is experienced and has complete knowledge of the course. He is also teaching courses on Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, and Product Innovations.
This courseflow by Professor Prabhu is self-sufficient for any new faculty to start teaching the course. This courseflow includes all the aspects of teaching the course:
- Course Outline
- Teaching Objectives
- Preparatory Notes for each section and topic
- Range of Case options
- Slides and Videos
- Examination Questions
- Project and its grading
It is an all-inclusive courseflow according to IIM B. It also allows the faculties to conduct communication and discussion platforms. Faculty from other institutions can help each other.
Professor Prabhu said that traditionally, new faculties attend the classes of any senior faculty. But sometimes, it is not possible if there is no senior faculty of the particular course in the particular institute. In such a case, this courseflow will lead the faculty into the right path through the course and help them gain years of knowledge easily. In the current era, there is a huge demand for new and trained faculty. This innovation will help faculties as well as newly established B-Schools in India.
