The All India Institute of Ayurveda partnered with the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode for developing skills among AYUSH women. The collaboration has provided 30 women participants from the AYUSH institute with skill training sessions.
Ayurveda Institute organised the two-day training programme and 30 candidates were selected from AYUSH institutes all over the country. The training session was conducted from 30th to 31st October.
Prof. Tanuj Manoj Nesari, Director, AIIA talked about how women empowerment is the foundation stone towards a progressive society. He added that the main aim of the event is to enhance leadership and managerial skills among the AYUSH women working in different sectors of Ayurveda.

The skill training program threw a light on self-awareness, strategies in leading teams, conflict and team management skills. The two-session programme also helped women gain insight into the world of management and its dynamics.
Pradeep Multani, Multani Pharmaceuticals, who helped in the collaboration said that it the society’s duty to create such avenues of learning and training for women professionals. Such initiatives will help them build a niche for themselves.

Meanwhile, the Government of India is in the process of signing a pact with 45 countries to conduct research in the AYUSH - Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy.
