- IIm Raipur organised its annual event Equinox 8.0 that witnessed the participation of students from a number of b-schools in India.
- A variety of competitions such as debates, case study etc. were organised for the students.
Equinox 8.0, an annual event ofIIM Raipurwitnessed a number of interesting business and other fun events this year. Various students from different colleges and institutes came together and displayed their talent in different domains.
Himanshu Singh and Ila Jha were the members of the winning team Uday Natoo of IIM Raipur. Whereas, the runners-up team comprised of Ananya Agarwal, Adarsh Kedia and Rohit Arun Agrawal from XUB College. A debate competition was also organized by PROvakta, a public speaking club of IIM Raipur. Sundance and Team Butch were the winners from HNLU Raipur.

Another interesting business event at Equinox 8.0 was a case study competition organized by Kartavya. The case study focused on innovation and resourcefulness along with social and environmental challenges faced by the leaders in pursuing the same.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Dhananjay Bapat, Chairman SAC, IIM Raipur. Six teams were invited to present their ideas and experiences on the same. Around 13 students participated in the case study competition organized by Kartavya. The team from IIM Nagpur bagged the first prize in the competition. Their idea was to enable inmates of Tihar Jail to make artwork, handicrafts and other goods in collaboration with Tribal people with the help of procurement and knowledge. The runners-up team was from IIM Raipur who presented an idea to create such an organization that supplies and delivers food to the homeless and is run by the homeless itself.

X-Quiz-It was a popular fun business quiz organized by quizzing club of IIM Raipur which witnessed a huge participation. It was a national level business quiz which was open to college students and corporates. The winner of the business quiz was Team SAIL and NIT Rourkela was the runners-up. On the last day of Equinox 8.0, there was a performance by the fusion band Swarantar.
