IIM- Trichy stood first position in Larsen’s & Turbo’s renowned Case Study Competition ‘L&T Out Think’. The Theme for the case study was EPC Engineering, Procurement and Constructive Business vertical of Hydrocarbon sector which took place earlier this month. Shivansh Namdeo, Anupam Raj, and Abirbhav Mukherjee were the winning team members from IIM- Trichy.
A total of 3160 students from 27 business school participated in the case study. Only 30 teams were shortlisted in the first round and out of them only 8 teams made it to Round 2. The 7 other finalists teams were from IIM Bangalore, IIM Jammu, IIM Rohtak, IIM Ahmedabad, FMS Delhi, IIM Kozhikode, NITIE Mumbai.

In the final round of the case study, only 8 teams were shortlisted. The team of IIM Trichy did a commendable job with their outstanding presentation and analysis of the case study, and finally emerged as the winning team in L&T Out Think. The team of IIM Trichy was awarded a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh.

IIM Trichy is one of the Top-B schools in the country. The school offers management courses such as Fellow Programme in Management, Post Graduate Programme in Business Management, and Post Graduate Programme in Management. For the selection criteria , the college uses CAT percentile along with written test and personal interview. The average package offered to students from IIM Trichy is Rs. 13 lakh with the highest package up to Rs. 23.8 lakh
