IIM Udaipur conducted its annual cultural fest - Audacity Audacity ’20 from 1-2 February, 2020. The event witnessed the participation of over 5000 people.
IIM Udaipur hosted its annual cultural fest Audacity ’20 from 1-2 February, 2020 at IIMU Balicha Campus. The event saw the presence of over 5000 people with a large number of participants fom Gujarat, Delhi and other cities. This year, Audacity also hosted a live concert by singer - Guru Randhawa, a stand-up performance by Rahul Subramanian, and a DJ Nite with DJ Rahill accompanied by an opening act by DJ Smashers. The theme of the event was ‘Escape Reality’, and more than 30 events such as a fashion show, cooking contest, group dance, treasure hunt, solo singing, rap battle, street play, case study, debate, etc. took place. The fest also had various fun activities such as paintball and zorbing.

Prof. Janat Shah, IIM Udaipur Director said that IIM Udaipur’s culture allows students to take ownership for themselves. The success of Audacity reflects that as it is a completely student-organised event and highlights the creative and managerial potential of the students. Audacity, the Annual Cultural festival of IIM Udaipur has seen growth over the previous version. The fest, primarily driven by the student bodies and the batch had the nation-wide participation of national artists such as Guru Randhawa, Rahul Subramanian, etc. The winners received awards on day 2 of the event. Prizes worth more than Rs. 3 lakh were distributed to the winners. Also, for mental peace and physical well-being, a meditation session followed by a relaxation session was organised.

Audacity is organised every year and the objective of the event is to give an outlet to the creative side of the students and a platform to showcase their talent. The events were judged by some prominent personalities such as Mohammad Rizwan and Ashfaq Noor Khan Pathan for Street Play and Stage Play, etc. The event also had the support of various industry leaders such as Secure Meters, Pepsi, Gaana, Spykar, Inox, Padharo Travel and Forum Celebration Mall.
