- Over 200 professionals, entrepreneurs and experts from the industry participated in the event at the IIM Visakhapatnam.
Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam organised its 2nd edition of annual entrepreneurship summit, ‘Exordia 2017’ on December 16 and December 17, 2017. The summit was a great opportunity for budding entrepreneurs and business enthusiasts. EPIC (Entrepreneurial Passion and Innovation Club) of IIM Visakhapatnam organised the event on a grand note.
The first day of the summit was an internal event for college guests and students, while the second day of the event, which took place at The Park Hotel in the city, witnessed the participation of over 200 professionals, entrepreneurs and experts from the industry. On the second day, the eminent speakers delivered inspiring speeches on varied themes. With an objective to keep the participants hooked, various interactive events were also conducted as a part of the summit.

Major Highlights of Exordia 2017: -
On the first day of the event, four eminent speakers delivered lectures on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The eminent speakers who took part in the event were: -
- Founder and CEO of Cinque Education Private Limited, Mr. Avinashi Sharan
- CEO of International Fertility Centre, Mr. Saarthak Bakshi
- CEO of Play2Transform, Mr. Avinash Jhangiani
- Founder and CEO of Xenture Technologies Private Limited, Mr. Arun Kumar
On the first day of the event, interactive competitions such as ‘The Quizzich’ and ‘Sell Your Idea in 60 Seconds’ were conducted, which witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students.

On the second day, the following eminent guests expressed their views on Entrepreneurship:-
- Director of Desiredwings Website, Mr. Mohammad Sirajuddin
- Director of Freshdesk (Project Management), Mr. Hrishikesh Kulkarni
- CIO of Bennett Coleman, Mr. TD Chandrasekhar
A B-Plan competition was conducted during the event which encouraged the students to exhibit their ideas in front of the panel and audience.
