The Indian Institute of Science - IISc and the Indian Academy of Science Bangalore have started with the application process for the summer fellowship in science and engineering 2019.
Candidates looking forward to applying for the summer fellowship in science and engineering 2019 can apply for the same on the official website of the Indian Institute of Science. The application process for summer fellowship has already started and the last date to apply is 20th April 2019.
The fellowship is for SC /ST candidates. The selection of the candidate will be on the basis of their application and education certificates.
In the summer fellowship, students will get an opportunity to work with one of the faculty members of IISc. This will help them learn about the variety of techniques used in research. The duration of the summer fellowship program is one month.

The applicants will have to submit the form with the latest passport size coloured photograph with study certificate, both duly signed by the principal of the college. The signed application has to be scanned into PDF or Jpg format and uploaded to the website.
IISC, IAS Summer Fellowship Eligibility 2019

- Candidates belonging to SC/ST category and pursuing a degree MSc in Physical/ Biological/ Mathematical Sciences/ can apply.
- Candidates who are in the 3rd or 4th year of B.E./B.Tech degree can also apply for the fellowship.

Given below is the step-by-step process to apply for IISc, IAS Fellowship 2019:
- Visit the official website of IISc Bangalore
- Click on the link- Indian Institute of Science and Indian Academy Sciences
- After then click on the online application link, and start filling your application form by following the instructions
- Upload your passport size image, cross-check all the information and click on submit.
Candidates who are selected for the travel allowance will get a stipend of Rs.5,000 and book grant worth Rs.1500.
