IIT Delhi Launches Certificate Programm on Fundamentals of EVs and Charging Infrastructure

IIT Delhi has launed a five-months online certificate program on the fundamentals of EVs and Charging Infrastructure. This course targets to bring innovation in product development, operational processes, and is aligned with the green revolution.

IIT Delhi Launches Certificate Programm: The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi has launched a certificate program for the second time in Electric Vehicles and Charging Infrastructure. The agenda behind the launch was to address the growing need for excessive demand for skilled professionals in India’s electric vehicle landscape. 

The certificate program of the fundamentals of EVs and the charging infrastructure can cater to the evolving demands of the emerging sector such as the Government of India’s policies. For the same, the EV market is expecting a compound annual growth rate of 55% by 2030. The program aims to develop new products, processes, and infrastructure for promoting sustainability and protecting the environment as well. 

Know About Certificate Programs on Fundamentals of EVs and Charging Infrastructure

This is a five-month, 55-hour learning program, which will be instructed by mid-career professionals online. Where the learners can gain knowledge for succeeding in the rapidly growing electric vehicle industry. More specifically, the program will be conducted through the state-of-the-art Interactive Learning platform and the delivery will be done in the Direct-to-Device mode. Also, under the fundamentals of EVs course, the prestigious course will cover topics such as the EV Charging Infrastructure, Battery Technology, and Basics of EVs and Motors, Battery Technology, EV Charger Protection, Communication, and Security. After the completion of the program, one can pursue his/her career as a Battery Engineer/ Charging Infrastructure Specialist/ Power Electronics/ Hardware Engineer, etc. 

As per the projection, the annual EV sales would be one crore units by 2030, which in turn leads to the creation of five crore direct and indirect jobs. Hence, this is a clear indication that the EV program will have a positive impact on the Indian job market as well.
