As per the official notification, the last date to apply for spot admissions is October 15, 2025. Interested candidates are strongly advised to complete the application process well in advance to avoid any potential last-minute technical issues.
Applicants who are in the final year of their B.Tech or B.S. degree from any Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI) with a Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) above 7.5 are eligible without a GATE score. Similarly, candidates in the final year of their M.Tech program with a minimum aggregate of 8.0 CPI are also eligible. Alternatively, students in the final year of their B.Tech program with a CPI of 7.5 or higher, or those pursuing a B.S. degree from any institution ranked within the top 100 in the NIRF rankings, must have a valid GATE score to be considered.
