Interested candidates should visit the official website- research.iitm.ac.in to participate in the IIT Madras Ph.D. admission application form fill-up process. The authority has not yet announced the last date for filling out the application form for IIT Madras Ph.D. admission 2023.
IIT Madras Ph.D Admission Application Form: Steps to Apply
The mode of applying for the IIT Madras Ph.D admission is online. The candidates can check out the following steps to apply for the IIT Madras Ph.D. admission in July 2024 here.
- Go to the official website
- Click on the IIT Madras Ph.D application form, which will be available on the homepage on the said date
- Complete the online registration registration, so that a login credential will generate
- Login using the login ID and start to fill out the online application form
- Upload the required documents as per the specifications
- Pay the required fees and submit the application form
- Take a printout of the form for future reference
The authority will release a list containing the names of the shortlisted candidates, who will be successfully submitted the application form, for test and interview. For the same, the selected candidates should submit a soft copy of the online application form along with the relevant documents/ certificates during the test and interview process.

Note, that the candidates who will be applying for the multiple departments or research programs, should register and pay the application fees separately.
The final selection will be done based on the candidates’ performance in the test and interview, conducted by the respective Departmental Selection Committee.
