IIT Mandi has started inviting applications for its short-term 'FEMER' course which will focus on problem-solving abilities for technology/engineering professionals.
The Indian Institute of Technology - IIT Mandi has recently issued 2019 admission notification for a short term course named ‘Finite Element Method for Engineers and Researchers (FEMER) 2019.’ The course which is set to begin at IIT Mandi from 28th June will end the application process on 30th May 2019. The application process is currently ongoing on the official website of IIT Mandi.
Students, faculties, working professionals, from any of engineering college, university, polytechnic institute, practicing engineers in any institute or industry are free to join the short-term FEMER course in IIT Mandi.
The course aims to teach the technology/engineering professionals about the Finite Element Method (FEM) by reflecting on the fundamental concepts initially and range to the much-advanced topics. In order to solve numeric simulations, the course will train people to write their own codes.
How to apply for IIT Mandi FEMER 2019 Course?
The method of applying at IIT Mandi for the short-Term FEMER 2019 course is given on the official website of Indian Institute of Technology - IIT Mandi. The process of application involves downloading the PDF and sending the filled form to the address mentioned. The details of which are as follows:
- The candidate has to visit the official website
- After visiting the link, the candidate has to click on the ‘Registration Form (PDF)’ to download the registration form. The candidate has to take the print-out of the form and duly fill the required fields
- After filling the candidate credentials, the candidate has to sed the scanned copy of the registration form to the email id given on the website
- Also, the candidate has to send the registration form to the official address of the institute with the Demand Draft (if paid through DD method)

Registration fees for IIT Mandi FEMER 2019 Course
The IIT Mandi 2019 FEMER registration fees are given in the information brochure of IIT Mandi FEMER 2019. There are different sets of registration fees for candidates belonging from various backgrounds. The registration fees for FEMER course at IIT Mandi is as follows,
Practicing Engineers: Rs. 10,000/-
Faculty Members: Rs. 8,000/-
Students: Rs. 4,000/-

The FEMER 2019 Course in IIT Mandi, Himachal Pradesh is a course is a numerical, data-based in nature and focused towards the computer-based problem-solving methods for technical and coding needs.
