UPSC has released a notification inviting all eligible aspirants who wish to join Defence Services. Candidates can now apply for the CDS (Combined Defence Services) Exam 2017. The last date by which the candidates will have to submit their online application form is December 2 till 6 pm. The CDS exam will be conducted by UPSC on February 5, 2017.

The application fee for general category students is Rs.200. Reserved category students will be exempted. Candidates who are paying by cash will have to submit the application fee before December 1, 2017. Other candidates can make payment through internet banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card till December 2.
Eligibility Criteria:

| Indian Naval Academy | An engineering degree from a recognized institute or any other equivalent |

If a candidate is studying in the final year or final semester of his/ her degree course and has not yet completed graduation is also eligible to apply for the exam.

- Go to the official website of UPSC
- Find the link of UPSC CDS 2017 and click on it
- Fill in all the fields that are mentioned in the form
- Click on the submit button

Note: Keep in mind to take the printout of the form for further use.
An admit card will be issued to all applicants by UPSC three weeks prior to the exam date.
