 NEET 2022 application form is up for filling now on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) - neet.nta.nic.in. Every year, more than 15 lakh candidates opt for the NEET Exam in order to get admitted in some of the premier medical institutions of the country to study MBBS/BDS/BVSC and AH/AYUSH courses.

Important Instructions for NEET 2022

The Information Bulletin has also been released on the official website, along with the NEET 2022 official notification. The following are some of the important points to note for NEET 2022 exam: 

  • The NEET 2022 Application Form has to be filled and submitted online. No offline applications will be accepted. 

  • Make sure that you are 17 years of age as that is the lower age limit to appear for NEET 2022

  • Certain documents have to be retained by the candidate after successful filling of the application form. These are required for future reference and they include the following - printouts of the confirmation page of online application, proof of application fee paid (bank transaction details supported by the confirmation page), a minimum of 4-6 copies of the identical passport and postcard size photographs that were uploaded during application form fill up and copy of the auto-generated self declaration for students belonging to Jammu and Kashmir who have opted for seats in the 15% AIQ section. 

  • Remember to provide valid mobile numbers and email addresses belonging to the candidate or their parents. The NTA will communicate via SMS or email system only. 

  • The application fees have to be submitted online via Debit/Credit card, Net Banking/UPI using the State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/PayTM Service Provider. Make sure you check the validity of your card and the amount of money that is in your bank account before making the payment.

  • Generation of the confirmation page confirms the successful completion and submission of the NEET Application Form 2022. In case the payment is not complete, the application has not been successfully processed. 

  • Make sure to preserve the Admit Card for NEET 2022 till you get admitted into a medical institution of your choice. 

  • Only one application can be submitted per candidate. So, make sure that all the information entered in the application form is correct and to the best of your knowledge. Corrections (only the ones that are permissible) will be allowed only during the edit window. Make sure the images uploaded are clear and that they match the specifications mentioned. 

  • NEET 2022 is a single stage objective type test that will be held on July 17, 2022. Indian Nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Non-resident Indians and Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear for NEET 2022.

  • Read through the brochure carefully to check if there are any changes in NEET 2022.

  • Medium of question paper and examination centre choices cannot be edited during the Edit Window. So, make sure to choose these carefully.

  • The Allotment Centre is made using computer technology. The NTA cannot change the centre under any circumstances. 

  • The Admit Card, Results, Rank Sheet and more will be available on the official website of the NTA - neet.nta.nic.in. For latest updates and counselling schedule, keep following the official website neet.nta.nic.in and mcc.nic.in for MBBS/BDS courses and ayush.gov.in and aaccc.in for BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS courses. 

  • Avoid the last minute rush and fill the application form as early as possible so that the submission is successful. 

  • The generation of the confirmation page is the proof of successful submission of the application form for NEET 2022. Just money getting deducted from the bank account is not proof enough. 

  • Students willing to study medicine outside India have to clear the NEET UG exam for eligibility.
