Instructions to be followed after ICAR Round 1 Seat Allotment 2022

ICAR Round 1 Seat Allotment 2022 has been released today, December 19, 2022, and is now available at icarexam.net. Post allotment, there are certain instructions given by the council that must be followed in order to retain your allotted seat or to confirm your admission. These instructions are discussed here in detail, along with their relevant dates.

Instructions to be followed after ICAR Round 1 Seat Allotment 2022

Notable instructions for seat-allotted candidates are stated below:

• All candidates who have been allotted a seat must upload the required documents for verification, pay the seat acceptance fee, and exercise their ‘Upgradation’ choice.

• Upgradation indicates that the candidate wishes to retain their allotted seat but intends to go for the next counselling round for chances of betterment (exercise of higher options than the allotted seat as per the candidate’s choice filling form).

• If a candidate is allotted a better seat after upgradation, the current seat will be automatically cancelled. If the candidate is not allotted a better seat after upgradation, the current seat will be retained.

• For all categories, the Seat Acceptance Fee is INR 10,000/- and this fee is non-refundable. As it is a part of the admission fee, the same amount will be deducted at the time of admission.

• Non-payment of the seat acceptance fee will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.

• The details of the allotment, if any, will be conveyed to the candidate via their registered mobile number and e-mail but the subsequent ICAR Round 1 Seat Allotment Letter 2022 must be downloaded from icarexam.net only. The allotment letter will be available through the candidate’s login after the seat acceptance fee payment.

• The list of documents required has been separately attached below. These documents must be uploaded via the official portal of the council icarexam.net only. Document submissions made through email, fax, WhatsApp, etc. will be summarily rejected.

• These documents must be uploaded in JPEG format only. Other file formats like JPG, PNG, DOCX, PDF, etc. will be rejected.

• Ensure that the JPEG images to be uploaded must be clear and all details on it must be visible.

• Also, the documents must have the same information as mentioned during the exam and counselling application.

• If any of the certificates are issued in your regional language (other than English), it is to be translated into English. Such translated documents must be certified by your principal/director/other competent authority of your current institute. The translated document is to be uploaded instead of the original regional language certificate.

  • Aadhar Card

  • Domicile Certificate

  • Character Certificate

  • Caste Certificate, if required

  • PwD Certificate, if required
