Indian School of Business (ISB) has collaborated with the Consulate General of Canada, Chandigarh to conduct an interactive session with the Federal Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, John McCallum. The session will be held on November 9, 2016.
McCallum will address the session and will talk about 'Canada and India: A relationship built on People to People Connections'. The minister will also take questions and address the queries of the attendees.
McCallum has previously worked as a professor of economics at several universities. He was also Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of the Royal Bank of Canada. He has also had a decorated political career and has also served office as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance. He has also worked as a professor of economics at various Universities and was Senior Vice President and Chief Economist of the Royal Bank of Canada.
The aim of this session is to inspire the ISB community. ISB had organized similar events in the past such as the Joyathon that was held on October 24. Over 500 people had participated in that event to promote the Daan Utsav, previously known as the 'Joy of Giving Week'.
An overwhelming participation was seen from the differently abled community who were competing in the event. The event was full of spirit and participants were asked to push their limits by participating in 3km, 7km and even 12 km long marathon. ISB conducts the Joyathon every year to unite people from different backgrounds.
