The main objective of the Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Global Leaders Fellowship is to attract skilled students in the state and encourage them to become global leaders through world-class education. The fellowship has been launched by the State Knowledge Initiative Platform (SKIP) in collaboration with the State Sports Council of J&K.

SKIP is constituted and administered by Amitabh Mattoo, Advisor to Chief Minister. Six of the top universities abroad have been identified by SKIP for the year 2019 and these are:

  • Oxford University (UK)
  • Harvard University (US)
  • Cambridge University (UK)
