B.Tech admissions in West Bengal are based on the scores/ ranks secured in WBJEE or JEE Main. Candidates with a valid rank in JEE Main need not mandatorily appear for the JEE Main exam and can directly participate in the WBJEE counselling process. For the year 2024, WBJEE is scheduled to be conducted on April 28.
