JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 Analysis: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted JEE Main Paper 2 in a single shift for both B.Arch and B.Plan papers. The papers were held as a computer-based exam from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Only the Drawing Test from the B.Arch paper was held offline. As the exam has ended, the major highlights of the paper as well as the detailed analysis have been provided on this page.
As per the paper patterns, both papers were held for 400 marks but the B.Arch paper had 82 questions while B.Plan paper had 105 questions. The first two sections of Mathematics (20 questions) and Aptitude Test (50 questions) were common to both papers. The third section of the B.Arch paper is the Drawing test with 2 questions being evaluated for 100 marks; while the third section of B.Plan paper is Planning consisting of 25 questions. There is a negative marking at the +4/-1 scale for all sections except the Drawing test.

JEE Main Paper 2 2023 Analysis: Major Highlights

- Few of the GK/AAT questions were- Monuments- Match the column
- Who planned Chandigarh?
- Who planned Patronous Tower?

- The paper was overall easy to moderate and a little lengthy.
- Drawing section had questions was comparatively easy from previous year
- Mathematics section had questions from topics like- series and sequence, definite integration, circle etc...
- There were 4 to 5 questions from paper folding in aptitude section
