JEE Main Paper Analysis 6 April 2024 Shift 1: The National Testing Agency conducted Day 3 and Shift 1 of JEE Mains 2024 Session on April 6. Students attending the exam in upcoming shifts of JEE Main exam 2024 on April 8 and 9 can check the JEE Main 6 April 2024 shift 1 detailed question paper analysis to understand the difficulty level.  Overall Day 3 Shift 1 exam of the second session was Moderate.Mathematics was tough and lengthy, however, 7 to 8 questions were doable. Chemistry exam was a bit difficult in this shift, unlike earlier shifts. Organic Chemistry dominated Chemistry and questions were asked from Physical Chemistry which were tricky. Physics was Moderate and equal division of chapters was there with more formula-based questions.  According to test takers, the April session exam was more difficult than the January session. Overall the difficulty level of Day 3 Shift 1 was Mathematics > Chemistry > Physics.

As per Experts, students must utilize the Sunday Break by majorly focusing on PYQs and are advised to revise formulas and practice numerical questions.As far as the Day 1 and 2 exams were concerned, the difficulty level of the paper was ‘Moderate’.   • The weightage of questions from NCERT 11th and 12th syllabus were balanced.
  • As per test takers, Day 3 Shift 1 exam was Moderate and on the difficult side compared to January session.
  • Mathematics section like earlier shifts was lengthy and tough
  • Some examinees found Physical Chemistry questions tricky.
  • Cordinate Geometry and Vector 3D dominated the mathematics section with 2 to 3 questions.
  • Chemistry section was Easy to Moderate Level and more difficult than previous shifts.
  • The type of questions asked in Chemistry was more from the 11th NCERT syllabus.
  • Question asked from circle was tricky.
  • In Physics and Chemistry, 70% of the questions are direct.
