The official notification of JEST 2022 has been released and the registration process began on the 13th of December 2021. The aspirant must note that the last date to apply for the entrance exam is the 18th of January 2022. JEST 2022 Examination will be conducted on March 13, 2022. As the candidates are required to upload the E-Photo & Signature in the application form, it is important to be aware of important instructions.
Procedure to Upload E- Photo & Signature in JEST 2022 Application Form
The aspirants must know the following instructions to upload the E-Photo and Signature successfully. The procedure is explained in a detailed manner in the following points.
- Aspirants will be asked to upload the passport size photographs in JPEG format.
- The size of the photograph of the candidate should not exceed more than 100 KB (kilobytes). The photograph should be cropped properly to have clarity of the image.
- If the photograph of the candidate exceeds more than 100 KB, the photo must be compressed using software available on different websites. ( For example http:/jpeg-optimizer.com, http:/www.imageoptimizer.net.)
- The candidates should properly name the Photograph and Signature files. To give names for those two files, candidates can use alphabets, underscores, and numbers only.
- The aspirants are advised not to use special characters like #, &, %, @, Punctuation marks, etc.
- The applicants are suggested to use a logical naming system. (For example Loginname_date_photo.jpg or loginname_date_sig.jpg)
- If the candidates use the logical naming system, the printout of the application will also have clarity.
- The applicant should scan the photograph and signature with a digital scanner and upload it. In the process of scanning any of the images increased, the candidate must compress once again before uploading.
- The dimension of the images must be minimum width is 100 and the height should be 125 pixels (100X125). The maximum width can be 240 and the height is supposed to be 300 pixels (150X30).
