About JEST

Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is held for the candidates seeking admission in Ph.D/ Integrated Ph.D course in Physics or Neuroscience or Theoretical Computer Science or Computational Biology in any one of the participating institutes that accept JEST score. The validity of JEST score is one year and candidates can take this entrance exam any number of times.

Every year, JEST is conducted on a national-level for the aspirants and is held in offline mode. It must be noted by all the aspirants that scoring rank in JEST does not confirm admission in any college accepting the exam scores. Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as listed by individual colleges after qualifying the entrance exam.
