JK Business School Hosts Convocation 2019; Awards 109 Diplomas

J.K. Business School, which is considered as one of India’s leading business schools hosted a convocation for the PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) batches of 2016-18 and 2017-19 on 1st September 2019. Many stalwarts from the business industry conferred diplomas to the graduates at the convocation.

Wearing maroon graduation robes and graduation caps, Mrs. Varsha Singhania, Vice-chairperson of JK Business School addressed the students. While encouraging the students she said that human beings are born again when they discover the reason for their birth. She added that everyone’s ikigai (a Japenese word meaning ‘reason to live’) is hidden deep inside and requires a patient search to be found. While sharing her experiences of self-discovery, she urged the students to have a purpose in life and undergo self-introspection before taking major steps towards a career path.

The dignitaries that attended the convocation ceremony on Sunday were the Founder and Chairman of ISON Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Vivek Gupta, Director of Kent RO Systems Ltd. as well as the Guest of Honour Mr Varun Gupta. Other than these two, the Director of JK Business School, Dr. Sanjiv Marwah was also present at the convocation.

A total of 109 graduates were awarded diplomas at the ceremony. Other than that, all the top rankers from the graduating batches were presented with medals by the Vice-chairperson of the school, Mrs. Varsha Singhania.

The convocation ceremony ended on a good note wishing the students good luck for the forthcoming endeavours. The ceremony was also marked with the presence of proud parents of the graduating students, faculty members, media, staff and prominent members of academia.
