JoSAA 2026 Official Schedule Released: Check Round 1 Choice Filling and Seat Allotment DateJoSAA 2026 Counselling Schedule: The official counselling timetable for the JoSAA 2026 session has been released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). According to the announcement, the registration process and choice filling for admissions to the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs will start from June 2, 2026, 5 PM onwards . The first round seat allocation results will be out on June 13, 2026, at 10 AM. Students who have scored through JEE Main 2026 and JEE Advanced 2026 will be able to take part in this counselling session.
As per the schedule, there will be almost 10 days for applicants to enroll and complete their institute-course preferences. Before the deadline for choice filling by candidates, JoSAA will provide two mock allotments so that students can get an idea about how likely their admission is and change their preferences accordingly. Choice filling and enrollment will end on June 11, 2026, by 5 PM.

Highlights of JoSAA 2026 Counselling
There will be five rounds of allotment of seats in the counselling process. The last round of seat allotment, that is Round 5, would be the last one for IITs and IISc. Candidates clearing the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will be able to make allotment of AAT-specific choices starting from June 7, following the announcement of the AAT result. It should be noted that JoSAA will allow the payment of the seat acceptance fees and uploading of documents even at the beginning of the application process.
