JoSAA Registration 2022 began on September 12, 2022, and the last date to complete the registration process is September 21. The first mock allotment result will be released on September 18. 

JoSAA Registration 2022 Begins: Last Date, Important Instructions

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) begins the registration process for the counselling rounds today, September 12, 2022. With the release of the JEE Advanced 2022 Results, candidates qualifying for JoSAA Registration 2022 may fill out the registrations from today. The JoSAA will release the provisional seat allotment based on candidates' choices and preferences. Further, candidates may lock their choices as per the seat allotment and proceed with the counselling rounds. The Round 1 Seat Allotment will be released online as per candidates' preferences, seat matrix, and seat availability. The JoSAA 2022 Counselling will be held in several rounds. Additionally, the JoSAA Registration 2022 for Architecture will begin on September 17, 2022, after the declaration of the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT).

JoSAA Registration 2022: Important Instructions

Candidates who are eligible will only be able to register themselves for the JoSAA Registration 2022. IIT Bombay has released the JEE Advanced cutoff and qualifying marks. Candidates who meet the benchmark criteria of qualifying marks must fill out the registration form. However, here are some important instructions for the registration process: 

  • The qualifying candidates must only apply or register themselves for the JoSAA 2022 to avoid cancellation or disqualification of candidature. 
  • Also, while filling out the registration form, candidates must ensure to add accurate details to avoid any hassle or cancellation. 
  • The JoSAA Registration 2022 will be held online only for all candidates, courses, and institutes. After the seat allotment is released, candidates accepting the seats will have to report online and submit the documents and fees to confirm the seats. If not the seat will be regarded as vacant for the next counselling rounds. 
  • Also, while filling the choices, candidates must check the JoSAA Seat Matrix first to ensure to apply for colleges with the highest possibility for admissions. 
  • Candidates must produce JEE Advanced Results 2022, Qualifying exam marks, caste certificate (if applicable), and all other required documents for the seat confirmation process.
