JoSAA Round 1 Cutoff 2023JoSAA Round 1 Cutoff 2023: JoSAA has released the seat allotment result for JoSAA Round 1 counselling 2023, and the official cutoff has been released now. JoSAA Round 1 cutoff is available in the form of opening and closing. While opening rank determines the rank where admission started in a specific institute and course, closing rank determines the rank where admission closed in the specific institute. These opening and closing ranks of JoSAA 2023 are only applicable for Round 1, and the Round 2 closing ranks will be released separately after the Round 2 allotment.

Candidates aspiring to participate in the Round 2 counselling of JoSAA 2023 must check the Round 1 closing ranks to edit the choices according to the Round 2 seat allotment. JoSAA will release the Round 2 seat allotment result on July 6 along with the Round 2 cutoff. The chances of securing admission to top institutes and courses are high in Round 1 and 2.
JoSAA counselling is conducted for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. While admission for IITs is based on JEE Advanced rank, admission for others is based on the JEE Main rank.
