PM Narendra Modi recently launched the Karmayogi Prarambh Module for new appointees under the Rojgar Mela, on November 22. The initiative is an online orientation course for new candidates joining the various government departments/organizations. The program has been designed to help government employees follow the code of conduct needed to adapt to the policies of their new job role. The course is aimed at training employees about workplace ethics and integrity, HR policies and other benefits/allowances provided to them.
Modi, in his speech further stated that the Karmayogi Prarambh Module will give employees a chance to explore other courses on the online platform – igotkarmayogi.gov.in – to enhance their skills, knowledge, and competencies.
The Prime Minister will also provide 71,000 call letters for appointees under the flagship of the Rojgar Mela scheme to counter the issue of unemployment in the country. Through this initiative, over 1 million citizens will stand a chance to gain better employment opportunities.
Vacancies Under Karmayogi Prarambh Module
Vacancies will be offered for various posts, including Nursing Officer, Teacher/Lecturer, Pharmacist, Radiographer, Doctor, Nurse, and other Paramedical and Technical posts. A significant number of seats in the Central Armed Police Forces will also be filled as per the instructions of the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
The Karmayogi Prarambh Module is initiated under Mission Karmayogi – a national program for civil services capacity building (NPCSCB), whose objective is to keep the essence of civil service among the citizens.
