Karnataka DCET Option Entry 2022 Starts Today: Check last date, important instructions

After a delay of almost two weeks, KEA is set to begin Karnataka DCET option entry 2022 today. Candidates who have complete the document verification as a part of DCET counselling 2022 can choose colleges as a part of option entry process.

Karnataka DCET Option Entry 2022: The Karnataka Examinations Authority will start the Karnataka DCET option entry 2023 today at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates should enter the options for getting a seat in the Karnataka DCET 2022 seat allotment process on or before January 18, 2023. Based on the options entered by the candidates, the authority will release the Karnataka DCET mock allotment 2022 result so that the candidates can get a tentative idea of the admission chances.

Candidates are advised to enter the DCET option entry 2022 based on their preferences from the list of participating colleges/ institutions. This refers that the candidates should enter the options in the sequence of priorities. Also, the candidates should click on the college type option while selecting a different course and then add the priorities accordingly.

Karnataka DCET 2022 Option Entry: Important Instructions

While entering the Karnataka DCET options 2022, the candidates should refer the below-highlighted important instructions-

  • Candidates are advised to enter the maximum number of choices to avoid the chances of being rejected. This will increase the probability of getting a seat in the seat allotment process
  • Candidates should enter the choices in sequential order, which refers to the priority number of the colleges like 1, 2, 3, 4, … etc
  • After selecting a course, if the candidates want to choose a different course, then they should click on the College Type again and need to add the priority numbers
  • Before submitting the option entry, candidates can click “View select option” to check their choice filling
  • After releasing the mock allotment result, the candidates will get the chance of editing/ modifying/ adding/ deleting the options if they will not be satisfied with the Karnataka DCET mock allotment
