The Karnataka Government has collaborated with the Institute of Analytics (IoA), UK to offer data skills and analytics training to the government officials. The institute has proposed to offer its skills in upskilling the government employees. It is an exclusive programme only for the government employees of the state of Karnataka.
This membership between the Government of Karnataka and the Institute of Analytics (IoA), UK will help the government to offer job opportunities to young and talented youth of the country through the social channels of the institute. The institute is willing to offer its social media platforms to invite participants to the IoA career fairs and Other networking events.

The collaboration was signed between the Minister for Higher Education, IT, BT, Skill Development and Livelihood, Ashwath Narayan, Karnataka, and the Head of Education, Clare Walsh, and the Head of Membership, Rosie Sweeney, the IoA officeholders in India at Karnataka.
Speaking on the event of the collaboration, Clare Walsh states that all the members will be eligible to sign up for the programme. Participants must adhere to the Code of Ethics as government employees and grow in their professional standards. It will also help to build trust in their jobs.
Further, Clare Walsh also states that it will portray the commitment of the government towards its employees by helping them learn and grow in their careers. This collaboration will help the employees to access networking opportunities and avail resources. Walsh also comments that not just the hi-tech industries should be limited to Data Science or Analytics. It should be also accessible for the government employees and organisations to promote which the institute has offered its services. IoA is offering hundreds of free memberships for the government employees of Karnataka.
