Karnataka UG Admissions 2022 will begin on July 11, 2022, as announced by Minister CN Ashwath Narayan through the Unified University and College Management System.
Karnataka UG Admissions 2022: The colleges, universities, and institutions offering admissions to UG courses will start the admission process on July 11, 2022. Similar to other state admission processes, Karnataka will implement a similar mode of admission. The UG/Degree Admissions for Karnataka will follow the Unified University and College Management System. It is a platform, where candidates will be able to apply for multiple colleges in Karnataka under one login ID. Candidates will be able to apply for admissions to their desired colleges/universities from their homes. The hard work of visiting one after the other colleges in person will be reduced. Candidates may apply for multiple colleges as they seek, after qualifying the eligibility criteria of the particular college/university.

Minister CN Ashwath Narayan relieves the doubts of many candidates regarding the portal for the Unified University and College Management System. Many students have initially expressed great problems and bugs in the portal. All of which are now cleared and well-interfaced. The portal is easy to use. For the convenience of the students, the portal now auto-detects the marks obtained in each subject, if the examination roll number of Karnataka PUC is entered. Also, by entering the Aadhar Number, the candidates may directly obtain the caste certificates or income certificates. Hence, the portal is ready and free from all kinds of glitches and will be operational and available for candidates from July 11, 2022.
Karnataka PUC results have been declared on June 18, 2022, where more than 4.22 lakhs students have passed. The degree admissions for approximately 440 colleges/universities, 100 polytechnic institutes, and 14 engineering colleges will be available at the same portal. Candidates will have to register and pay a requisite amount. Then, they will have to select the colleges they seek to apply to using the same login interface. The last date for the admission process is not yet disclosed by the authorities. Yet, it is best to complete the application process as soon as the window/ portal opens.
