KCET 2022: KEA Launches WhatsApp Number to Address Student Queries

KCET 2022 application form is set to be released by Karnataka Examinations Authority on April 18. The last date to fill the online application form is May 5. This year, KEA has introduced a WhatsApp number to address queries on KCET 2022. Any issue regarding the entrance exam, registration process, payment failure etc can be routed through the WhatsApp Number of KEA – 9741388123.

KCET 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on June 16 and 17 in Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects. KEA has not implemented any changes in the exam pattern and syllabus of KCET 2022. This year, PUC II marks will be used to allocate ranks along with the entrance exam score. In simple words, KEA will give weightage to PUC II marks as well apart from KCET 2022 score to allocate ranks for the counselling process.

Candidates aspiring to appear for KCET 2022 must note that the exam is conducted exclusively for admission in B.Tech, B.Pharm, Pharm.D, B.Sc Agriculture, B.VSc and BNYS courses. For admission in B.Arch, the candidates must have a valid score in NATA. On the other hand, NEET score is mandatory for admission in MBBS, BDS and UG AYUSH courses.

For B.Sc Agriculture admission through Agriculturist Quota, the candidates will have to appear for KCET 2022 and a Practical Examination that will be conducted separately. Such candidates will have to attend a mandatory certificate verification, and the schedule for the same will be posted on the KEA website soon.
