The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education Examination has released the WB HS 2026 result today, on
May 14, 2026,
via a press conference at
10.30 AM
.
Adrito Paul from Narendrapur Ramkrishna Mission bagged the first position with 99.2%.
This year, a total of
6,26,258
candidates appeared for the Semester 4 HS exam, and among them,
5,71,355 students
qualified for the exam. Total passing percentage is
91.23%
. The passing percentage for the female and the male candidates is 92.74% and 89.71%, respectively. This means the performance of the female candidates outshines the performance of the male candidates.
Purba Medinipur is the highest performing district with the highest rate of passing percentage 94.19%, and Howrah is the second highest performing district with 93.84%, and North 24 Parganas is at the third position with 93.71% passing rate.

- Open the DigiLocker app or type digilocker.gov.in.
- Log in using the registered mobile number and security PIN. If you are a new user, then use your Aadhaar-linked mobile number for sign-up.
