
KCET Mock Allotment Result 2025: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released KCET Mock Allotment Result 2025 on July 25, 2025, following the closing of the online options entry window on July 22. This mock allotment list gives candidates a preview of the college and program they might secure based on their preferences, providing an important opportunity to reconsider and modify their choices before the final allotment. Along with the mock allotment result, KEA will also release the mock allotment cutoff. It will provide candidates with the data required to reorder their preferences to be able to get the best course and college at their rank. Post mock allotment, candidates can edit their choices from July 26 to July 29.

KCET Mock Allotment Result 2025: Steps to edit choices
Candidates can check below the stepwise process for editing choice online during the options entry:- Login to the official KCET portal using your CET number and password.
- Select the option "UGCET-2025-OPTION ENTRY" displayed on the homepage.
- You will see the login screen to enter the options. Scan the QR Code printed on the candidate’s verification slip.
- Then enter the online application number and the option entry CET number given in the verification slip.
- The candidate should enter the OTP received on the mobile number registered during the online application.
- Then click on Verify OTP. Then log in to the option entry by capturing the candidate’s Live Photo.
- Then, candidates select the link to pay Rs 750/- and pay through various payment gateways. (All categories of candidates have to pay Rs 750/-) .
- Candidates' Option Entry will be activated only after the payment of Rs 750/- is confirmed, and then only candidates will be allowed to make Option Entry.
- Go to the ‘Modify Selected Option’ (or similar tab) window to begin editing your choices.
- To rearrange options, change the priority numbers assigned to each choice to reflect your new preference order. Make sure each option has a unique number.
- To delete options, enter “0” (zero) in the option field for the choices you wish to remove, then click “Update”.
- To add new options, select colleges and courses from the available list, assign them a priority number, and add them to your selection.
- Review and save your changes. Make sure to cross-verify the updated list in the “Selected Options View” (or similar tab) window.
- Download and print your updated option entry report for your records after saving the changes.
- Log out of the portal after finalising your options to ensure your data is saved securely.
