- The authorities give equal weightage to the scores obtained in the KEAM entrance test
- Aggregate score in 10+2 qualifying exams

If two or more candidates obtain the same marks, then the tie breaking rule will be applied. In that case, the authority will follow the below mentioned rule.
- Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics in KEAM 2022 will be considered first
- Candidates with higher marks in Physics will get second preference
- Candidates with higher standardized marks in Mathematics of class 12 will get a higher rank
- Higher standardized marks in class 12 Physics will get next preference
- Candidates with the older age will get higher rank
