Kolhan University NAAC Evaluation to take place from January 23 to 25: University aims to get good grade

Kolhan University is a state university with 19 Constituent Colleges, one autonomous college, 01 medical college, 02 affiliated dental and nursing colleges, and 12 affiliated B. Ed. Colleges and 16 affiliated colleges are situated in the Kolhan Division of Jharkhand. The university was first ranked by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) in 2016 with a 1.6 GPA (Grade Point Average) in Grade “C”. Within 7 years of establishment, the university had been successfully recognized by the NAAC. Kolhan University is going through its second cycle of the NAAC evaluation which is being conducted from January 23 to 25, 2023. The university has prepared well and aims to score high and improve its grade. 

The National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) is a government body that evaluates colleges and universities based on a range of criteria and marks them against 279 marks. The evaluation is being conducted by a team of NAAC who will personally evaluate the university by conducting several interactive sessions with the students, teachers, and staff of the university, and also evaluate other aspects of the university.
